That would make macbeth a bad person for even thinking about killing his king for nothing, just to get his power and try to take over. I think that it's really lady macbeth that really wants him to kill the king so he could be king and make her queen. Thats a good thing that macbeth don't really want to kill his king cause of what he said, "I have no spur to prick the sides of my intent, but only Vaulting ambition, which o'erleaps itself and falls on th' other".
He realize that he could be killing his king for nothing meaning when he kill him he wont become king and that the people in the village just might kill him for killing the king and let someone else become king.
